Your digital hiking diary

Your digital hiking diary

The logbook – every hike, every summit, every memory in one place.

Mark hikes as "done" and the logbook automatically tracks your adventures in the Swiss mountains. With statistics, heatmaps, records and PDF export.

What is the logbook?

The logbook is your personal hiking archive on OhMyAlps!. Every time you mark a hike as "I've done this", it automatically lands in your logbook – including date, distance, elevation gain and canton. This creates a digital collection of all your mountain adventures, step by step, that you can browse, analyse and share at any time.

What your logbook can do

From simple collecting to detailed analysis – the logbook grows with you.

Collect hikes

With one click on "I've done this", every hike lands in your logbook. You can optionally add the date – so you know exactly when you were where.

Hiking statistics

See at a glance how many hikes you've done this year, how many cantons you've visited, what distance and elevation you've covered in total, and where your favourite canton is.

Heatmap calendar

The heatmap shows you for each year on which days you hiked. This helps you spot patterns – were you mostly in the mountains in summer or also in winter?

Personal records

The logbook celebrates your achievements: longest hike, biggest elevation gain, highest point. Filter by year or look at your overall records.

Map of your hikes

All completed hikes appear on an interactive Swiss map. This lets you immediately see which regions you've already visited and where blank spots are still waiting.

PDF export

Download your entire logbook as a PDF – with all statistics, records and every single hike. Perfect as a keepsake or to share with friends.

Year filter

Set the year filter to see statistics and records for a specific year – or keep "Overall" for your entire hiking history.

Challenges & Badges

Every completed hike automatically counts towards your challenges. Collect elevation, kilometres and cantons and earn virtual badges – right in your logbook.
