From Weissbad to the Kronberg

We start at the Bahnhof Weissbad. Crossing meadows and sections of forest, we head up to the Rechböhl and continue to the Klosterspitz viewpoint. After the Neuenalp, the trail leads us through a scenically beautiful high moor. At the traditional Berggasthof Scheidegg, you can enjoy hearty Appenzell cuisine. The final stretch takes us past the Kapelle St. Jakob, and soon after, we reach the Kronberg. We then take the Gondelbahn down into the valley to Jakobsbad.
