From Fribourg through the Gorges du Gottéron

We start at the Kathedrale of Fribourg (bus from the station to the stop "Cathédrale"). The path soon leads us down to the Sarine. From here, we walk along the Fribourg river for a short stretch. We soon cross the Sarine via the Pont de Berne. Now we continue on the small road Chemin de Gottéron, which slowly winds its way through the gorge. Later, the road joins the Wanderweg and the actual beautiful path through the gorge begins. Small waterfalls, mystical gorge landscapes, and green nature are delightful. At Ameismühle, we leave the gorge and return to Fribourg via mostly open field paths.
