From Fribourg through the Gorges du Gottéron

We start at the cathedral in Fribourg (bus from the train station to the "Cathédrale" stop). The path leads us down to the Sarine. From here, we follow the "Sarine" river briefly. We soon cross the river via the Pont de Berne. Now we continue on the small road Chemin de Gottéron, which slowly winds its way through the gorge. Later, the road joins the hiking trail and the truly beautiful path through the gorge begins. Small waterfalls, mystical gorge landscapes, and green nature will delight you. At Ameismühle, we leave the gorge and return to Fribourg via mostly open field paths.
