Tannenboden to Maschgenkamm

The hike starts in Tannenboden on Flumserberg and initially leads steadily uphill towards Seebenalp. The trail winds through the varied mountain landscape, offering beautiful views of the Churfirsten and Walensee throughout the ascent.

Seebenalp marks the first highlight. The alp is idyllically situated on a high plateau and surrounded by several small mountain lakes. The view of the surrounding peaks makes this section a particularly lovely place for a break.

From Seebenalp, the trail continues uphill towards Zigerfurgglen. Here, the landscape becomes increasingly alpine. The path leads below striking peaks and through open alpine meadows before the final ascent to Maschgenkamm begins.

Finally, you reach Maschgenkamm at around 2,000 m a.s.l. At the top, an impressive panorama over Walensee, the Churfirsten, and the Glarner Alpen awaits. From Maschgenkamm, take the gondola lift back down to Tannenboden.
