Merligen - Beatenbucht - Sundlauenen - Manor Farm

We start in Merligen at the "Beatus" bus stop. The trail rises moderately through the Salzacherwald forest towards Beatenbucht. Later, we pass the Beatushöhlen, where an optional visit to the stalactite caves is possible. Soon the path leads down to Sundlauenen, a picturesque village situated directly on Lake Thun. We continue along the shore until we reach the Manor Farm campsite. From here, you can return by bus to either Interlaken or Thun.
